The students will shot and publish own movies and presentations as the effects of the workshops.

There are 6 topics

1. Identity . " Historical and natural heritage. Material e Inmaterial human

heritage
This section will include short movies about cultural aspects such us monuments, habits,
lifestyle, gastronomy, notable people, education, etc. Natural areas will be also considered as
basic elements that influence people´s lives. We are going to motivate our learners to reflect,
study and also to tell us about their own experiences related to artistic issues, old buildings
and other pieces of art.
Those stories will try to offer a general vision of the taken region or country. It will be also
studied about the common roots of the partners’ human heritage. At the same time the
Digital Stories will be used in order to help the spectators either to get a wide vision or to get
new ideas of the land itself.

2. fundamental human rights: housing, jobs, health care, education, state

welfare.

These outcome consists of a number of stories about fundamental human rights ( housing,
job, asylum, health care….) told in first person.
We will try to look for and share stories about situations and experiences from real people
that we know in a direct or indirect way in which fundamental human rights are not taken
into account, and even worse are oblivion and turn the other way, like the right to housing,
job, personal security, persecution due to ideas .. or stories when the right to asylum is denied because of political interests.
The target group will be on one hand, young people and middle aged people who are
interested in the topic and want to collaborate on the project, sharing their own stories, told
in first person or collecting other people’s stories. They will work on the methodology of
interviewing to ask the older generations that are in our school or in our families about their
experiences helping them to built a Digital Story which will share with all the participants.

3. stories of migrants. Their reasons for leaving their countries. Their lives
before and after emigrating. How it changed their lives.

These output consists of a number of stories of migrants in each participating country. The
target group will be on one hand, young people and middle aged people who are interested
in the topic and want to collaborate on the project, sharing their own stories or collecting
stories from other people about history of inmigration in their community. They will work
on the methodology of interviewing to ask to the older generations that are in our school or
in our families and who were migrant in the past about: difficulties they faced, why, when
and where they had to go…etc. This outcome also will include stories about young people

who had to go to other countries in recent times, looking for job opportunities.

4. Health Promotion

This output includes digital storytelling that have to do with healthy and unhealthy lifestyles
and the way to improve our health, giving a positive outlook from the preventive point of
view. We will work on prevention of smoking, abuse of fattening food and fast food, sugar or
alcohol consumption or other drugs and sedentary lifestyle and later collecting stories
about suggestions and proposal to fight these unhealthy habits.
Regarding impact and transferability, we expect that the whole Digital Storytelling proccess
conducts to reflect on our unhealthy habits, and reach to positive conclusion about what kind

of changes we should do to improve our lifestyle.

5. Education throughout the European recent history.

This outcome will include stories about Education and the school that our parents, or
grandparents went to. We are going to focus on the evolution of the right to education in our
European societies. We will also include in this output stories of migrants from other
countries outside Europe to widen our horizons.
We will try to collect personal stories about duration of compulsory school, contents, method
of teaching.. etc. and how it has been changing throughout the recent history.
So we are going to collect and share stories about what was the education and school like
last century, in the thirties, forties and from then on, till nowadays: teacher methodology,

rules at school, stuff to learn…

6. active job search.
This output consists on a collection of personal stories about the topic of job search, telling
in first person, like the others. It will include a reactive point of view in which the individual
take control of the situation, choosing the companies, position or sector they want to apply
for a job. Here the role of the unemployed students is important. It should be active and
dynamic.
Regarding impact and transferability the most important elements will be the expectation of
finding a job. But it also will be important the exchange of experiences, knowledge and
feelings about unemployment. These digital storytelling can be useful to develop creativity
and initiative when looking for a job. Besides that, it can be a innovative aspect in job search.
